• Offer paid volunteer time for employees and do an annual volunteer day every year with Conservation Alliance through the Backyard Collective (specific to 1% for the Planet-related non-profits)
• Leaping Bunny and PETA’s Beauty without Bunnies certified, meaning no animal testing
• Products are Fair-Trade certified and Made in USA

PLUS …

• Employees get to bring their pets to work
• The calendula for their products is grown on a farm about 15 minutes from their headquarters where they also grow food for their staff. Employees receive fresh eggs, citrus fruits and veggies each week
• Flex time is also offered for people who would like Fridays off to spend with family
• Packaging is recycled and reused in the warehouse to make crinkle paper for shipping
• They have in-office bikes for borrowing for exercise, grabbing lunch or general breaks
• Their building is LEED Certified
• The farm will be completely carbon neutral by the end of 2019
• They have implemented a weekly company "Activism Torch," where employees can volunteer to make a difference in the community, nationally or globally through an act of education, a petition, volunteering, a shift in habit (for example, composting at home, eliminating plastic straws, bringing their own to-go ware, etc.)
• Charitable community outreach is done through their annual fundraiser for Outside Now, a local nature connection program for kids and teens. They also support local schools, non-profits and companies whenever they can through in-kind product sponsorships
